Hengdian Group Chengdu Molecular Lab. is run by a professional team of experts with experience in: laboratory research, scale-up engineering, industrial production and advanced project management. Our team has a vast knowledge of industrialized know-how of active compound discovery, intermediates and APIs. Our prime goal is the successful scale-up from laboratory to commercial production.

Our term: Over 40 chemists work in our Lab., all of them haveorganic       synthesis and pharmaceutics background.
15 PhDs and Masters as project manager work with their  groups.
Some of them are very experienced in process chemistry, which   is due to their working  background  in pharmaceutical industry

Lu ding
Dr. Lu co-founded Molecule Lab. In 1999, and has served as CEO since then. Before joined Molecule Lab., Dr. Lu worked at SIIA ( Sichuan industrial Institute of Antibiotics, China ), where he was Researcher, Postgraduate Supervisor and Director of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, lot of new semi-synthetic Antibiotics in Chinese pharmaceutical industry were successfully developed by his Department, also his team give lot of technical supports to Hengdian pharmaceutical industry, many intermediates were developed by Molecule Lab.
Hu jian
Dr. Hu joined Molecule Lab. in 1999 from Sichuan niversity, and has held the positions of Associate researcher, Researcher and Chief Researcher. He was promoted to Vice President in May 2002. Dr. Hu is very experienced with pharmaceutical production( manufacturing, quality, engineering ), especially organic synthesis, before he got his Ph.D degree he had worked in pharmaceutical industry for 7 years as lead of workshop, QA. And QC. Department.

Molecular design, synthesis and antiviral activities research of nucleoside as antiviral agent.
Over 100 intermediates and 6 APIs have been developed in our laboratory and most are currently in industrial production.
